A recently acquired unit is currently being re-structured to DISHMAN's standards. This facility is a medium size chemical unit specialising in Diazotisations. DISHMAN intends to use this facility for captive Diazotisations and for enhancing quat production capacity of main unit. Large 20m³ glass lined reactors and SS reactors are being installed to produce large tonnages of quat solutions such as :

TBAB 50% solution
BTEAC 50% solution
CTAC 30/50 % solution
Cetrimide 40% solution
BKC 50% solution

Each FCL or ISO tank will carry a single batch.

Dedicated Bromiantion Facility

For quat production, DISHMAN consumes several thousand tonnes of alkyl bromines which are being produced in this facility. A state of the art bromination storage and handling facility is under installation in technical co-operation with Dead Sea Bromine to handle more than 3000 tonnes of liquid bromine. Presently a separate unit is being installed on this site for some niche brominated products.

Dedicated Chlorination Facility

This facility is for exclusive production for DISHMAN's chlorinated activities of all type of chlorination involving:

Elemental Chlorine Gas
Thionyl Chloride
Chloro Sulfonic Acid
Cetyl Chloride
Sulfuric Chloride

Important reactions performed on this facility are

Nuclear chlorinations
Alcohol to Chlorides
Sulfonamides.
